Lost at School - chapters 7 to 9

Title of Book/Reading/Study Programme
Author/s or Lecturer/s or Speaker/s
Dr Ross Greene
Synopsis
These chapters covered working with all students on the ALSUP and CPS. This may include students who have minor social lagging skills to create a CPS and working with all students to help a few through circle time or well-structured conferences.
It also covered working the ALSUP and CPS through the school and getting parental support.
Motivation
Much of chapter 7 is already being applied, such as with Xavier and having the class develop empathy with him. The statement, fair does not mean equal, is vital for students to help each other. They need to understand that all children need different support to succeed at school, and they need each other's support as well.
In chapter 8 it discussed engaging with parents. Yes, let us do this. Parents need to understand the need for differentiation for each student from the start of the year.
